Sunisa Wongkham

Chiang Mai · Keepsake Inventory

My mother passed away in March and we were left with a house full of papers and objects we didn't know how to handle. Priya came to the house twice, and the way she worked through everything — slowly, asking questions, writing things down properly — was really different from what I'd expected. We ended up with a clear inventory and, more than that, notes about where things came from. I didn't think I needed that until I had it.

British expat, Chiang Mai · Records Talk

I'd been putting off dealing with our Thai property papers for years because I didn't really understand what any of them meant or how to store them properly. The Records Talk session answered practically every question I had — and flagged a couple of things I hadn't even thought to ask about. It was well worth the time.

We have three generations of family documents going back to my grandparents, and none of it was organised. Nattapong and Anong came out to us in Lamphun and spent several afternoons working through everything systematically. The binder they produced is something I can actually use now — and more importantly, so can my children.

What I liked most was the story-behind-the-item note section. I'd never thought to write down where my husband's grandmother's jewellery came from, or why certain pieces mattered. Now those stories are part of the record, not just the objects themselves. That feels like something real and lasting.

Chiang Rai · Records Talk

I came for the session not knowing quite what to expect. It was practical and calm, not overwhelming. I left with a list of what I needed to sort out and a clear idea of how to go about it. I've since come back for the inventory service, which I probably wouldn't have considered before the talk.

Chiang Mai · Full Archive

We were preparing for a property transfer within the family and had no idea where half the relevant papers were. Heirloomly helped us locate, organise and properly label everything we needed — and a lot more besides. The whole process was carried out very discreetly, which was important to us. I've recommended them to two other families already.

Three Families, Three Starting Points

The Situation

A Bereavement, a House Full of Papers

Following the death of an elderly parent in Chiang Mai, an adult daughter from Bangkok was left responsible for a household she didn't live in — full of documents she didn't recognise and objects she didn't know the history of.

What We Did

We carried out two Keepsake Inventory sessions in the family home, working through all rooms systematically. Documents were categorised and labelled; meaningful objects were inventoried with story notes drawn from conversations with family members present on the day.

The Outcome

A complete labelled inventory of 140 documents and 60 significant household items, with story notes for 38 of them. The daughter returned to Bangkok with a binder she could share digitally with her siblings. The house was ready to be handed over within the family two weeks later.

"I didn't expect it to feel as manageable as it did by the end." — S.W., Chiang Mai

The Situation

Expat Couple, Mixed Document Environment

A British-Thai couple in Chiang Mai had accumulated 12 years of mixed Thai and English household documents with no clear filing system. A property transfer was approaching and they needed to find their chanote and related paperwork quickly.

What We Did

We began with a Records Talk to help them understand what they had, then moved into a single Keepsake Inventory session focused on property and financial documents. Thai-language documents were identified, translated into plain English descriptions and correctly categorised.

The Outcome

All relevant property documents located, labelled and stored in sequence. The couple had what they needed for the transfer within three days of the initial call. Three months later, they returned for a broader household inventory.

"We should have done this years ago." — R.H., Chiang Mai

The Situation

Three Generations, One House in Lamphun

A family in Lamphun had three generations of papers and objects accumulated in a large family home — land documents, agricultural records, heirlooms and photographs spanning from the 1960s to the present day.

What We Did

A Full Archive Companion engagement over six weeks: five afternoon sessions, systematic room-by-room work, bilingual labelling throughout. We produced section-divided binders for property records, identity documents and keepsakes respectively, plus a master table of contents.

The Outcome

A complete household archive across three binders, with digital photographs of all significant documents as backup. Story notes captured for over 90 objects. The family set up an annual review to keep the archive current. One adult child later described it as the most useful thing the family had done together in years.

"The binder they produced is something I can actually use now." — N.K., Lamphun
